Important Information Concerning the Parking Arrangements at Gordons School

Parking Restrictions

There have been some changes to the parking arrangements over the summer months, which will affect everybody entering the school's grounds.

The parade square outlined in the attached drawing is no longer open to vehicles to park anywhere and is chained off, but there are now car spaces at the top (Library marked A) end and bottom (Main Gate marked B) end for staff and visitors. You can use any available space in these areas. However all other areas are unavailable for parking.

One Way System

A one way system has also been applied. Cars parking at the Library end (A) of the parade square MUST leave by the exit via the Headmaster's House (C) onto the A322. Cars must not drive back up the road parallel with the parade ground.

Cars parked at the bottom (Main Gate) (B) end MUST leave by the exit onto the Windlesham Road (C).

If there are insufficient spaces on the main school grounds, the car park over the Chobham Road (D) is always available.

5 mph Speed Limit in Gordon's School

Please also note the speed limit of 5mph inside the Gordon's School grounds, and that anyone travelling faster could have their child's lessons revoked.

Additional Restrictions on Event Dates

The following School Productions/Events will cause ALL parking to be denied on the parade square, thus affecting Ollie Otters:-
